MedApp - Best Paper Award of IEEE IST 2023

Our partner MedApp participated in the 2023 IEEE Imaging Systems & Techniques Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark on 17-19 October. During the conference, they had the opportunity to present the results of their work in the DECODE project:

• Manahil Zulfiqar, Maciej Stanuch, Andrzej Skalski, "Preoperative planning for Coronary Artery Disease using 3D Segmentation and Mixed Reality".

• Haasan Saeed and Andrzej Skalski, "A Robust Deterministic-Based Automatic Vessel Centerline Extraction Algorithm in 3-D Binary Volumes".

The "Preoperative planning for Coronary Artery Disease using 3D Segmentation and Mixed Reality," one of MedApp’s teamwork, received the prestigious Best Paper Award in the conference.
